At Tesfa we have worked to implement a safe and flexible approach to learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. As of November, 9, 2020 we have not had a confirmed case of Covid-19 amongst our staff and students at school this school year. However, due to the rapidly rising case rates in the counties we serve we have been advised by the department of health to begin a transition to distance learning.
Here is the plan:
*November 9-November -19 we will continue with our current hybrid learning model.
*November 20 – NO SCHOOL – staff planning for transition to distance learning.
*Week of November 23-27, NO SCHOOL Thanksgiving Break
*Monday, November, 30 – Friday, December 18, School in Distance Learning Model
*December 19 – January 3 NO SCHOOL Winter Break
*Week of January 4-8 Return to school in the Distance Learning Model.
*Monday, January 11, 2020 Target date for return to Hybrid Learning Model if county case rates allow for the change.
