Dear Tesfa Friends,
Thank you for coming to school each day willing to learn, ask questions and participate in class. Growing your brain is not easy and it takes effort. Sometimes that work can be difficult. I appreciate you be open-minded and willing to work!
This week is a short school week for you. This Tuesday, Oct. 18 and Wednesday, Oct 19 we have the privilege to meet with you and your families to talk about your learning. We plan to have conversations about your hopes and dreams, what you are showing you “can do”, and what you need to learn and practice. What is your responsibility when it come to learning? What choices to do you need to make in order to achieve your goals?
This Wednesday is Unity Day! This is a day people across the nation are joining together to send a message of support to students who have experienced bullying. Bullying is a behavior. It is when people use their power to hurt or scare others on purpose. Bullying can hurt everyone. At Tesfa, classrooms have been working on creating messages of support, encouragement, and inclusion to show that we believe our school should be a place where everyone feels safe and accepted. We are uniting to take a stand against bullying!
REMINDER! Wednesday is an early release- we will dismiss at 12:15 pm. There is no school this Thursday or Friday.

Appreciate who you are and what you do. Don’t focus on your imperfections – instead remember the great things you bring to this life.
